DMM's Virtual Achievement Awards
April 24, 2021

On Saturday, April 24, 2021, Delta Mu Mu Chapter, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. (DMM), streamed its annual Achievement Awards program, honoring individuals and Brothers for their actions and impact in 2020. Typically held in November each year as part of the Chapter’s Achievement Week activities, DMM delayed the Awards program due to COVID-19. As a result of the delay, the Chapter decided to stream a virtual program on a special day, April 24. One hundred years ago, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity launched its first Achievement Week, then called the Campaign for the Study of Negro Literature and History, held from April 24-30, 1921.

The Chapter paid homage to the anniversary of Omega’s first national program by presenting four awards and grants to individuals whose impactful efforts made a difference in metro Atlanta communities of color. In addition, four awards were presented to members of DMM for their significant contribution during 2020.

This is the Achievement Awards.
