Achievement Week
November 4-11, 2023

Established in 1921, Achievement Week is Omega Psi Phi Fraternity's first and longest standing community service initiative. With the mission to "encourage and support achievement for the collective good among today's youth in communities of color," Achievement Week is one of Omega's few programs required to be performed by every Chapter.   Held the first week of November annually,  Delta Mu Mu Chapter (DMM) has crafted a series of programs aimed to advance critical thought and educate with the goal to inspire high school and college students of color in metro Atlanta.  Additionally, the Chapter honor those local leaders who serve the community, in general, and young people of color particularly at its annual Founders Brunch.

2023 Founders Brunch

This year's Founders Brunch will take place on Saturday, November 11, 2023, 10 AM-Noon at Maggiano's Little Italy,  3368 Peachtree Road, Atlanta, GA 30326.  This year's theme is "Ethics & the Media."  The keynote speaker for this year's Brunch is D. Orlando Ledbetter, the award-winning journalist for the Atlanta Journal-Consitution.

The event is open to the public and a limited number of tickets will be made available for sale on October 16 for $30.

The Omega Debate is a high school debate challenge in metro Atlanta featuring students of color formulating and developing arguments with compelling evidence and presentation on policy, community, and political topics that affect them and communities of color

The Daily Achiever campaign runs each day during Achievement Week through DMM's social media channels highlighting an unsung, and, in most cases, unknown, African American achiever noting their accomplishments and contribution

The capstone of Achievement Week is the Founders Brunch where annual awards are presented to community leaders, the winners of The Omega Debate and TAP, and recognized members of DMM Chapter
